Sorry for not posting everybody (I'm assuming people actually read this), I've been distracted, and unbelievably tired. Let's face it; the world is pretty quiet this week anyway.
Jen, Natalie, Cameron, and I started watching season 1 of the Tudors last night. We are a little obsessed (Well, not really Cameron, he was just spending time with his girl). I made a stand around 11:30 and ducked out early to get some sleep.
Of course Pei-Pei's maniacal laughter didn't help the process along. My roommates don't seem to understand that people should knock down the volume a couple notches on a weekday evening (Is there a better way to phrase that?) where some of us have to wake up semi-early the next day. Pei-Pei is the only person I’ve ever (unfortunately) met who carries on conversations at shouting volume at 2:00 in the morning! Most of you know how I feel about Pei-Pei so I'm being redundant. For those of you who didn't already know. I hate her. Harsh, you say? Whatever, I'm tired of my ridiculous 18 year old foreign roommate, who giggles more than speaks. It’s not really that funny to be completely unintelligible. I’m also really tired of blowing my paycheck on wall plug-ins and baking soda to keep the smell of un-covered, un-refrigerated, and decaying food at bay. It’s really gross food that didn’t smell stupendous to begin with either. Who doesn’t know that fresh unsheathed garlic and chopped onions must be stored in a cold area in a reseal able bag? PEI-PEI! You’d think when somebody cooks all the time, they would go to the trouble of buying some pots and pans, maybe some dishes of their own, but why? When Whitney has everything Pei-Pei needs. Keep your rotting, malodorous food outta my pans, and stop stealing my silverware!
Rant over.
I think I'm going to dub '08 as the year of the crooked politician. PM of Ireland stepped down today for making suspect deposits in the sum of 150,000 plus. Although he denies it, he is resigning so this blogger is disinclined to believe him.

I thought you spelled quiet like this...
Typo.
I've missed your blogging, welcome back. And I am SO sorry about the roommate situation. Roommates are funny, either you love them or hate them. I had my fair share of both. In all, Brittany was my favorite.
Whitney, your back! i love reading your blog, and i love when you rant :). p.s. someday, i would love for you to show me how to make your delicious chocolate cake...the more i think of it, the more i start to crave it.
thanks jess! ditto to you! our lovely times in that yellow house are some of my best college memories. remember the hot cocoa and popcorn we always had on Sunday afternoons?
How about the year of the crooked politicians who got caught...
I had a roommate who smoked in the bathroom, got arrested for stalking the Osmonds, and threatened to kill all of us with a butcher knife! It's things like this that you will always remember, even when you forget everything else... haha
